Firearm shot in class

Sig Sauer P320

  • We shot the full-size P320 X-Five Legion with a trigger group modified for competition by Bruce Gray @ Gray Guns

  • Any pistol in the P320 line is a great choice

Sig Sauer P365

  • The 'little' brother to the P320 is the P365.

  • It is available in a small subcompact (P365) and a slightly larger subcompact (P365 XL)

Firearm recommendation for those with weak hands

Smith & Wesson M&P 9 Shield EZ line

  • There are several variants on the S&W website, but the one linked above would be my 1st choice

Firearm recommendation for 'practice'

Smith & Wesson M&P 22

  • Just like the Shield line, multiple variants. The one link is the compact version.

  • A .22 LR has inexpensive ammo and the mechanics of operating the firearm are the same as a larger caliber.

  • If you are thinking of using a suppressor, make sure you get the variant with a threaded barrel.

Walther PPQ 22

  • A bit more expensive than the Smith & Wesson, but also better quality.

  • Multiple variants, including a threaded barrel version
